Software Engineer

At InternetSafety.com, the Software Engineer is vital in achieving the technical excellence that contributes to our market leading products. The Software Engineer should be self-learning and capable of quickly grasping the rapidly changing technologies of the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of our software products.
• Development and maintenance of kernel-level network code.
• Development and maintenance of web-based applications related to the software products.
• Contribute to the overall design and architecture of our software.
• Provide tier-2 support to customer service representatives.
• Provide code-level support of OEM clients.
• Conduct research and analysis of Internet based communication and protocols.
• Conduct research and analysis of new technology for deployment in our software.
• Assist in administration of server systems related to the software products.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related professional experience.
• 2+ years C/C++ experience, Visual Studio and MFC.
• Or 2+ years objective-c/C++, Xcode
• Strong creative problem solving skills.
• Working knowledge of PHP, ASP and SQL.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common network services.
• Experience with layered service providers on Windows is a plus.
• Experience with Mac OSX development, Xcode and kernel extensions is a plus.
